Got to know that this restaurant located right above the Lucerne station serves purely vegetarian buffet from a tourist booklet. They should certainly put up some advertisement at the station level. Anyway, you choose what you want to eat and then pay as per weight. Wide selection of hot and cold dishes, and most of the stuff I tried was quite good.

Me and my husband went to Lucern for easter holidays. In Switzerland everything closes during holidays, including many restaurants. The only option we found was to eat at the train station, but for our surprise, we found a really nice place, with fair prices and good food. The restaurant is vegetarian and has so many options. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner there. They serve brunch, so between breakfast and lunch the dishes are the same, however, you find different options for dinner. it's a buffet style restaurant. The atmosphere was also very nice, we never had to wait for a place. and there's a great view from the trains, it's also quite cozy and clean.

This restaurant has amazing reviews but I don't see why. We were greeted by a waiter that asked if we had been before, this was our first time, his response was get a plate fill it with the food on the island and pay for it at the bar. I asked how much and he said £20-£30. That was it, so I asked did we pay by the gram and he responded no it will be by the plate. The queue was so long to pay that the hot food was cold by the time we sat down to eat. Staff were totally blank with no interaction and sad faces, food was very vinegary and lacked the great flavours my wife creates with her vegan meals. Went here while in London to celebrate as reviews were so good but really wished we hadn't bothered. We eat lots of vegan and vegetarian food at home mostly organic but nothing here tasted half as good, my stomach felt quite bad that evening.
Our veggies are growing and so are we! We're super excited about the opening of tibits London Bankside this summer, have you spotted it yet? 👀 #HereWeGrow

This is a vegetarian buffet restaurant and it could easily convert me into a vegetarian. Walk in. Pick up a plate. Help yourself from a very wide choice of warm and cold dishes (If you're not sure what an item is, turn the label around to read it in English). Take your plate to the bar and put it on the scales. Order a drink. Pay. Sit down at a table. Eat your meal and be prepared to be amazed. It is GOOD! Gets very busy at times so good advice would be to find a table first and leave a coat to reserve.
Really dont like this restaurant. As a grown man you need 2 full plates to get full and happy. But you pay quite a lot, for VEGETARIAN FOOD?! No meat, nothing special... Self Service, buffet and so pricey
This restaurant is located close to Piccadilly Circus, in a charming side street.
There's a big "food boat" at the center with various cold and hot dishes. Everything is clearly marked as vegetarian or vegan. You take a plate and start filling it. Then you go to the cash register, they weigh your plate, and you pay by weight. I believe it's 28 pounds per kg. So you don't know in advance how much your meal will cost, but you get a chance to try a variety of dishes. I filled my my plate without piling it, and ended up paying 12.40 pounds. Perfectly reasonable. There's also a water fountain free of charge.
The place was pretty crowded and noisy at dinner time on a weekday, and people kept walking around between the food boat and the register, so not the best atmosphere. Perhaps better for grabbing a quick vegan or vegetarian meal.
We went there for lunch with trepidation on having rabbit food for lunch, but we need not have worried. It was truly Swiss quality, reminded me of the long gone Marché restaurant at the Swiss Centre. Buffet with lots of veggie dishes to choose from. Choose what you like, take your plate to the counter and pay by weight (avoids wastage). Restaurant was clean and cosy, the juices were limited in choice but very nice.
We liked it so much we went back there for dinner! We are not tourists, but lifelong London residents, and loved it!
The one thing they could have done and learnt from British Indian veggie restaurants are Paneer dishes. This is a kind of indian cheese that has been around for hundreds of years but has the consistency between chicken and quorn. None to be found here, although they did have Turkish falafel.
