Lunch was amazing with the 2 Boss Queens that visited London on a business trip. The food was VEGAN and delicious.The decor was good. The price varied based on the weight of our plates. My food and orange juice was £21.
I would rather a set price or being charged based on the number of food options chosen. Nevertheless, the price did not ruin a good lunch meeting.
P.S. If I had dessert, maybe the price would hit £40.

I'm not big on vegetarian food, but this place definitely changed my view about vegetarian food... a bit. The choice of food is very extensive and definitely fills you up. It tastes great and I also like that you pay for the weight of your food. That seems quite fair. The atmosphere is great and the service is fast. All in all a wonderful experience.
Tibits is conveniently located on the street level at Bern HBF (central train station) with options of take away, eat inside or eat at the outside tables. The self serve buffet style assortment of dishes include a good variety of vegan options. All the dishes are clearly labelled whether they are vegan or not, so vegan selection is very easy to do. The food is sold by weight, so you just take a plate and load it up with whatever you like, take it to the cashier where they weigh it and you pay only for what you take. We tried all of the vegan options and really liked every one of them with only issue being that we really ate too much. A dinner for four of us averaged about 28 Swiss francs per person and we so full nobody wanted desert. Whilst not the cheapest possible meal, delicious and nutritious as well quick and very easy option for vegans and others alike.

Arrived in Basel from Florida and headed ti Tibits for lunch. Mostly vegetarian and quite fresh and delicious. Pay by weight. You can just take what you want to eat. Comes with a free roll and free hahnenwasser. Easy, delicious lunch
Had supper here with my daughter after a busy day and we were both blown away by the selection of food on offer. She is vegan and I eat flexibly but adore vegetarian and vegan options when I can find them. The best thing about Titbits, apart from the delicious food, is that you select your food from the display and then take it to the counter to pay where it is weighed and you pay accordingly. As a guide mine was just over £10. There is a full range of hot and cold drinks, alcohol and fresh juices. We just had water. After a lot of discussion and admiration of the food we'd eaten we then felt ready for a little dessert. I had a small selection of a few of the options which came to £3.60 and then we both had coffee. A really gentle, friendly, relaxing environment to eat and chat in. We will definitely go again!

I was in Basel for a week and ate here pretty much every day - no greater compliment could be had. They have an amazing buffet of vegetarian food (pay by weight), gorgeous spaces and a great drinks range. I would so love to have packed Tibits in my bag and brought it back to Sydney!
A work colleague introduced me to this place. He asked me what I fancied for dinner and I said - anything, so long as it’s healthy. He took me to Tibits. It was excellent: tasty vegan and vegetarian food that also looks great. I loved it! Made such a welcome change from the standard fare I end up eating while on business travel. If you fancy a change, I’d really recommend this.
Self service vegan and vegetarian. A large variety of almost everything from which to choose. Wine list is reasonable but not too varied. I must say that as, not being a vegan, I would not object at eating here every day, there is so much choice. An extremely central location, neatly tucked in behind Regent Street, the layout is simple but effective. Large capacity in the basement for discrete meeting and large parties alike. Staff are laid back and friendly. You are left to your own devices, just pay by weight of your food chosen.

Really good way of eating with others who have varied food requirements. Enjoyed the choices and the deserts were delicious. Only take as little or as much as you want as you pay by the weight not the choice of food genius.
I chanced upon this restaurant when looking for some inspiration for a pre-theatre meal with my daughter. It’s located just west of Regent Street so near enough to theatreland but a little way off the beaten track..
We arrived at 5:50pm on Saturday in pouring rain to find a couple of free tables (no option to book ahead).
The concept is great: everything at the self-serve buffet is clearly labelled and there’s a wide selection of hot and cold dishes. Once you’ve made your selection you take your plate to the counter and place it on the scales. The dinner plates are a perfect size (not huge) and I paid £10.80 for a hot meal & soft drink and £2.70 for a small desert. Highlights for me were the “Ginger and Cashew Rice” and the “Rooibos & Chai Tea Cream” (made with soya milk).
I’m not a vegetarian but didn’t miss meat/fish on this occasion. Staff were polite and restaurant and looks clean and welcoming. I look forward to eating there again.

Went for lunch when it’s always crowded. No wonder. Pick up a plate and join the line of people selecting cold (lower level) and hot foods (upper level) as we all circle the yummy looking offerings. Not speaking German, I flipped over cards naming dishes and ingredients to help me make my selections. So many unusual and delicious looking dishes. Some highlights: asparagus quiche, carrot horseradish pate, artichokes, Indian spinach curry, beet pate, yummy hummus. Note that the bread is free - and really good. We stood in line to get our food weighed and asked for (free) water. Swiss water is so good! Meal cost us about 20 euros apiece - about what one pays for a meal at a Swiss Burger King and infinitely tastier, more complex and healthier. One of the owners/founders saw me hesitate to go upstairs with my tray, drink and walking sticks and quickly offered to carry my food up the steps. We later spoke with him about Tibits, and his dream to create an excellent restaurant presenting plant-based options. He and his partners have succeeded and I hope to someday see Tibits in the US.
we Absolutely loved this vegetarian buffet restaurant above Lucerne Railway station. The selection of dishes both hot and cold was amazing and the staff were so kind and helpful. The pricing system was amazing whereby you select whatever you want and pay by weight. We visited every day for a week.

Decent restaurant - mostly vegan fast food, food is rather tasty all the time. However, it seems too overpriced for me. If you eat plenty and not used to vegan food, you can easily spent 40+ in this place and still be hungry. Neither I nor my friends are fond of vegan food, however everyone enjoyed the place. Worth a visit to try such type of food.
