Order / confirmation
tibits caters for events in the Greater Zurich, Winterthur, Bern, Basel, Lucerne and St Gallen areas. To ensure smooth planning, it is important that we receive your order no later than three working days before the event is due to take place. Our minimum order value is CHF 300 (excluding delivery). Your order shall be deemed to have been accepted once we confirm it verbally or in writing. Any services beyond those described in the order confirmation will be charged separately.

Delivery / transport
 The order can be delivered by courier on request. The customer will be billed for the cost of the delivery. We do not deliver to locations outside Switzerland. The order can also be collected directly from tibits.

Prices / costs 
The prices for the food and drinks are automatically calculated when the order is placed. The prices are in CHF and include the statutory VAT. The full costs – including the cost of any additional services – must be paid within 30 days of the invoice being issued. For catering without staff, VAT is 2.5%, while for catering with staff it is 7.7%.

We do not generally provide staff. The tibits buffet is designed to be very easy for you to set up on your own.

The number of guests can be changed up to 72 hours before the start of the event. This figure then forms the basis for invoicing.

If the customer cancels any booked or ordered services within 7 days of the start of the event, we are entitled to charge 25% of the proposed price as a cancellation fee. If a cancellation is received up to 2 days before the start of the event, this charge shall increase to 50%. Cancellation on the day of the event itself incurs a charge of 100%. Where the specified cancellation deadlines are concerned, the significant factor is our receipt of your written cancellation.
If an order we have confirmed includes external services (e.g. logistics, equipment or other services), we shall be entitled to charge any costs incurred in the event of a cancellation.
Furthermore, we shall be entitled to cancel the contract if we have sufficient grounds to believe that the event could endanger our company’s business activities, security or reputation. In such an event, the customer shall not be entitled to damages.

Hired equipment
Our catering is supplied in porcelain dishes, with serving cutlery and electric hotplates for the warm items. We calculate a flat-rate buffet fee for the hire of the catering equipment. We shall be entitled to charge the customer for any damaged or lost tableware.

Your personal details are required in order to process your order and payment. They are stored in a tibits database. Telephone numbers will be made available to the courier service in case of an emergency. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.

tibits shall be free to issue advertising material.

Place of jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from this contract must be settled in Zurich (tibits ag). Swiss law shall apply.
