The name tibits comes from the words titbits/tidbits, meaning small, tasty pieces of food and stands for fresh, tasty, healthy products.

In our very first cook book "tibits at home" (currently only available in German) you will find 50 of our guests' favourite recipes, beautifully illustrated and with simple instructions to recreate. Our cook book is available throughout Switzerland in all tibits restaurant, the tibits online shop and renowned bookstores. iPhone lovers will find their perfect match with the tibits app (available in the app store only). 15 selected recipes from the "tibits at home" cook book are neatly and practically presented. It has never been so easy to be a tibits chef. Happy cooking!

Our meals and sandwiches are prepared fresh, at the restaurant, several times a day. Just like the juices, which are likewise freshly squeezed throughout opening hours.

tibits is a restaurant, bar and take-away all in one. Take-away is just one part of the tibits concept. All our products can be ordered "to go". But if you have more time, you can enjoy your meal on china crockery with real cutlery, all in the pleasant atmosphere so typical of tibits. And in the evening, the main bar is ideal for drinks with a selection of tasty snacks.

Children are more than welcome at tibits. We have a kids' section where they can have the time of their lives while Mum and Dad enjoy their meal in peace.

tibits draws on the Hiltl Restaurant's enormous experience and sets the same high standards for quality and enjoyment as the Hiltl Restaurant, but is a completely independent entity. The Hiltl Restaurant offers full waiter service whereas tibits is a bit like the bars in Italy, where you order and pay for your food and drinks directly at the counter.

All our dairy and bakery products are organic. If the quality, availability and price are right, we use organic products. But top quality is absolutely essential. And wherever possible, we use local or regional produce.

Yes, our fruit juices are squeezed freshly several times a day. And since fruit juices are a natural product, it may well be that the flavour differs slightly from one time to the next.

At tibits our aim is to be as uncomplicated as possible and that people can come by when they feel like it, therefore we do not take reservations.

If you are planning to come by with a group of more than 8 people to celebrate a special occasion or just to enjoy a nice evening together, bookings are most welcome.
